CoderDojo came to Brussels (and we took part)

If I have not met you before my name is Lindsay MacVean, and I work with the founders of CoderDojo in Cork, Ireland.

I got this invitation to the 1st CoderDojo in European Parliament out of the blue on January 7th. Three weeks later four kids and three parents/mentors of Slovenian chapter of CoderDojo arrived to Brussels. What initially sounded too good to be true, turned out even more amazing and surpassed all our expectations. It's hard to put this extraordinary experience into words, so I'll let photos tell the story.

Special thanks to Lindsay MacVean and Giustina Mizzoni for invitation and organization of our trip that was supported by Liberty Global. And of course many kudos to James Whelton and Bill Liao for starting the CoderDojo movement in the first place and all their efforts to push for programming literacy among the kids.
