December's #VBlatu lecture series will be hosting a lecture by Jure Leskovec on Networks, Stanford, and Silicon Valley. Jure is the closest thing to a celebrity that we have in computer science in Slovenia. At the age of 30 he's already an assistant professor of computer science at Stanford and he collaborated with some of the most distinguished scientist in the field.
Since Jure spends most of his time in California, it's rare to see him speak in Slovenia. I'm sure we can except an outstanding talk, so you're most welcome to join the meetup. But hurry up with registrations, since there are only 200 seats available of which 125 are already taken.
