WASHINGTON - White House officials raised concerns on Saturday about online piracy legislation in the works in Congress, saying a lighter touch would be better. Top technology companies have already decried the proposed legislation, known as the Stop Online Piracy Act or SOPA, as heavy-handed.
Hopefully, this is an indication that on-line media and Internet companies are slowly becoming more important than traditional media companies.
